The standard panel includes CBC, comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid panel, thyroid (TSH), HbA1c, and hormone screening (testosterone for men, estradiol/FSH for women where appropriate). Additional labs can be added based on your health history and concerns.

What if something is found during the exam?+

Do I need to fast before my physical?+

Yes. Fasting for 9-12 hours before your appointment is required for accurate fasting glucose, lipid panel, and insulin testing. Water is fine. Medications can be taken as normal unless Dr. Ashar advises otherwise.
