Low Testosterone Assessment
Rate your symptoms on a clinical scale to estimate your likelihood of low testosterone and find out whether lab testing is warranted. Free, takes about three minutes. Start below.
This assessment is for informational purposes only. Two morning blood tests confirming total testosterone below 300 ng/dL are required before TRT is prescribed.

How the low testosterone assessment works
This low testosterone assessment, sometimes called a low testosterone quiz, asks you to rate common symptoms on a simple clinical scale, then factors in your age and how long you have had symptoms. It produces a likelihood score and tells you whether lab testing is worth pursuing. It is a screening tool, not a diagnosis. Low testosterone can only be confirmed with blood work, but a structured review of the signs of low testosterone is a useful first step that helps you decide whether to test.
Common signs of low testosterone
Testosterone affects energy, mood, body composition, and sex drive, so a decline tends to show up across several areas at once. The low T symptoms this assessment reviews are the ones most consistently linked to low testosterone in men:
- Persistent fatigue that does not improve with rest.
- Reduced sex drive or a noticeable drop in interest.
- Loss of muscle or difficulty building it despite training.
- Brain fog, poor concentration, or mental slowness.
- Mood changes such as irritability or low motivation.
- Reduced drive or confidence, feeling like a diminished version of yourself.
Any one of these can have other causes, which is exactly why testing matters. The assessment looks at the pattern and severity together rather than any single symptom.
What happens after your low T assessment
A high symptom score does not by itself mean you have low testosterone, and it never leads straight to a prescription. Diagnosis requires confirmation with blood work.
Testing standard: Two separate morning blood draws showing total testosterone below 300 ng/dL are required before testosterone therapy is prescribed. A typical panel also checks free testosterone, estradiol, LH, FSH, and related markers to identify the underlying cause.
If your results and labs support it, the Tactus Health team reviews your full picture and builds a treatment plan from there. You can read more on our TRT program overview. For background on the condition, the Urology Care Foundation is a reliable resource.
