Xeomin in Gwinnett County
For frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet
with treatment planned around your facial movement.

What Xeomin Is
Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA) comes from Merz Aesthetics. It is a prescription botulinum toxin treatment FDA-approved to temporarily improve moderate to severe frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet in adults. It is formulated without the accessory proteins associated with the botulinum toxin complex, and it still contains other ingredients, including human albumin and sucrose.
Like other botulinum toxins, it relaxes the muscles behind those lines so the skin above them smooths. Results build gradually, and how quickly they show and how long they last differs between people.

Xeomin vs Botox
Xeomin and Botox work the same way and are used for many of the same lines. They are different products with different formulations, and a unit of one does not equal a unit of the other.
Xeomin has a lower per-unit price than Botox here, and Allē rewards apply to Botox only. Your provider recommends a product based on the area, your history and any previous response. Compare Botox, Jeuveau and Xeomin.
Is Xeomin Right for You?
Its approval covers frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. Other cosmetic areas are off-label and can be discussed at your consultation. Each treatment is given by our licensed medical providers, under our Medical Director’s oversight.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we will wait. Before recommending treatment, your provider goes through your medical conditions, medicines and any earlier botulinum toxin treatment.

Xeomin Questions
What does free of accessory proteins mean?
Xeomin is formulated without the accessory proteins associated with the botulinum toxin complex. It still contains other ingredients, including human albumin and sucrose.
Is switching from Botox to Xeomin possible?
Usually. Bring the product you had, the treatment date and the dose if you know it, and your provider sets a Xeomin dose on its own terms rather than converting a Botox dose.
How long does Xeomin last?
Typically around 3 to 4 months, and it varies. Your provider recommends when to repeat treatment.
Does Xeomin hurt?
A short sting with each injection is typical, and most people manage without numbing.
Does Xeomin cost less than Botox?
It is lower per unit, as shown above. Because units differ between products, the total for your plan is the number to compare.
