Medical Aesthetics With a Clinical Foundation
Most medspas treat the skin as a surface problem. At Tactus Health, skin conditions are evaluated as part of the full clinical picture. Persistent adult acne may have a hormonal root. Melasma may be driven by estrogen fluctuation. Rapid skin thinning in the 50s is a consequence of menopausal collagen loss, addressable both topically and hormonally. We treat what is visible and what is causing it.
All injectable treatments, Kybella, neuromodulators, and dermal fillers are performed by Dr. Ashar N., DNP, APRN. Facial and skin treatments including peels, RF microneedling, IPL, facials, and dermaplaning are performed by Cynthia, our licensed aesthetician. Both bring clinical precision to every treatment they perform.
Tactus Health also manages BHRT, testosterone optimization, and medical weight loss. Patients with hormonal skin conditions, menopausal skin thinning, or adult hormonal acne have the option of addressing the hormonal driver and the skin simultaneously, which no standard medspa can offer.

Dr. Ashar holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and two national board certifications, one in family practice and one in psychiatric mental health.
She founded Tactus Health to close the gap she watched her own family fall through: symptoms that were real, labs that came back normal, and no one willing to connect the two.
She is responsible for the protocols our medical team follows, and for the training of the clinicians who deliver them. Holding both certifications is why those protocols treat hormones, mood, sleep and metabolism as one system rather than five separate appointments.
